The balancer bolt backed out and the crank spun inside the balancer and marred up the balancer pretty good. Crank looks to be fine no grooves or anything on it. My question is, is there a balancer that is less prone to do this? I heard that the ARP balancer bolt will help prevent this. When we put the balancer on we put a new GM balancer bolt on, not ARP. Will locktight on the balancer bolt help this as well? Has anyone else had this problem? I currently have the 25% ASP underdrive pulley.
