Sucks, I usually steer away from craigs list b/c of things like this. Plus I'm worried half the stuff is stolen.

Word of the wise, get an alarm. It's extremely easy to get into our trucks. Hence I used to have a Panasonic in dash Strada head unit. Low and behold, walked out to see someone took a canopener under my door handle to get to the lock. They stole my nav unit but didn't even touch the 1k CDT components, 1k worth of amps, and my Image dynamic subs that are 300 a pop wholesale. Then again, I bolted them down pretty good. Funny part is, without the pin code a panisonic nav unit is worthless. Panasonic will not reset the pin without a bill of sale.

Update:

Found a guy to fix the radio, he was very professional, very reasonable, came to my work picked the radio up, was upfront about what needed to be done and pricing, had it back to me this afternoon and it works great, he even delivered it back to me at work. Not sure if I am allowed to do this, BUT, I don't think this conflicts with any of the sponsors, his name is Mario, company is A.(automotive)E.(electronic)S.(specialist), number is 713-392-1228.

The insert/eject mechanism, it was out completely. Just so happened he had a unit with a busted face that was identical to mine, so he had the parts to fix it. Was very reasonable, IMO.

I downloaded a software update from XO Vision onto an SD card that fixed the GPS issue.

That's why I buy new so I don't have to deal with the scum out there.
