Default New Combo In The 10's

The Super Chevy Show was in Houston this past week end. We raced in the DOT (ET Streets)class and ran 10.90's @ 126. We are still fighting traction problems ,so I had to ease it out of the hole. The 60's are still high 1.6's-1.7's but it pulls on the big end. Eric dialed us in at 10.92 and we went a couple rounds. Driver error (red light ) ended our day. The other guy broke out and we ran a 10.95 on that run. I gave it away. Still not bad for a 2 year lay off. The other problem we are having is the car pulls to the right during the burn out. Eric made sure there was water in the box and I still almost went side ways. I' m wondering if the posi is bad? We are looking at relocation brackets and some true slicks to see what the car really has in it.
We made one N2O pass Friday on drag radials and picked up 5 mph in the eighth, and 6 mph over all. We were just playing around and didn't spray in first gear. So far I'm happy with this build.

Look into the Hoosier Drag radial, but it's 15".. The Mickey's are really good but the deal with the Hoosier is it is about 10lbs lighter per tire and it has a little softer sidewall so if the tire is gonna try and spin it will allow it to "wrinkle" some more and not drive threw the tire like the Mickey will.. My Cousin run's that tire in the TT5 class and is a very heavy hitter in that class with a Drag Radial

Hoosier also makes a 16" slick that will fit the wheels that I have. We raced in the 1st round, I don't think I ever caught you. It was that close. I lost to the black Camaro in the 3rd round on a red light.

Thanks. I bought it new at the old Timmers Chevy Dealer. It only has 78k miles on it . Thats cause it has been sitting broke about 3 years of its life. LOL
It's on its 4th engine combo, 2nd block, 4th converter, and numerous trans rebuilds. The stock 10 bolt did last 7 years. We have 500-600 passes on it easy.

Hate when that happens. Biondo Final Round IV practice tree.

Been down the track a few thousand times and it still happens to me.

sorry about the rub.
