need an honest opinion on a motor trade alright. I came across a guy who wants to trade me his 5.3 for my ls1
my car has 218k miles. BUT... it doesnt smoke, knock, or throw any codes. COMPLETELY STOCK.
his 5.3 has 97k miles. shorty headers, ported heads, cai, tuned, tb spacer. out of an 02 chevy
i need an honest opinion. what kind of power diferences and would it be worth it. i'm leaning on keeping my motor and building the top end.

Yea your better off rebuilding your 5.7 id check to make sure everything is in one piece on the top end and if nothings broke rebuild the bottom end first thats where your gonna be losing compression.
