No wonder it took him 5 rounds to kill that thing look at the shot placement. I mean I understand the bear was really close but someone needs to teach him where the kill zone is, the shoulder isn't it. That things paws are huge and those claws are nasty.

Farmers in the area knew about the Bear but weren’t able to track after it had killed 3
horses, 5 cows, 13 sheep and a pen full of chickens

i would think bear meat is heavily marbled with fat,
prolly just like 3/4in-1in. good ole ribeye.
lotta ribeyes,steaks and chops would come out of that ****
