You don't need new ones to delete the rears, but I run Denso and ahve had good luck with them..

Denso or bosch. Not really sure why you're buying new ones if the old ones work. For the part they are, they're not cheap. Just replace them when one breaks. You can get extensions for 15 bucks and use the stock ones.

Concerning the Delete your going to have to either get MIL eliminators, a programmer, or have a tuner edit them out. Has nothing to do with what 02's you run.

We only use Delco! We used to use some Denso and Bosch, but had far too many defective brand new out of the box.

Remember, O2 sensors are a maintenance item, and should not only be replaced when they go bad! Their average life is 50-75K miles, and they can cost you fuel mileage well before the DTC light comes on!

Tip for you installing the headers.

Reuse the factory ones till the headers "break-in" the paint and crap will kill o2s like crazy so use the olds for a few weeks then switch them out..

If you are deleting the cats you will have a couple of spares leftover when the project is done. Keep them and use them. As far as brand, your PCM is Delco and staying with Delco for an OEM application like that is good logic, and the tuners I know personally say stay with Delco for more or less for those same reasons anyway.

If you are asking if you can keep them connected and just strapped to the undercarriage to prevent DTC's -that won't work; they have to live in the exhaust stream. I've never considered if you could mount them downstream in the pipe to prevent requiring their deletion by a tune. That might work but you will likely still get DTC's. Their purpose is to monitor cat efficiency.
