to reverse lookup a phone# with out having to pay a site to do it??

Looking for at cell number to see who it is???

download the number guru app on your phone. It doesnt always work but i have had good luck with it.

I've tried this before but I never had any luck with it. My luck has never been that good though.

Google lookup for numbers usually only works for landlines. Don't think they're able to identify cell phones.

slydial will put you straight into their voicemail if its a cell. You may luck out if they have vm greeting recorded.

The short answer is legally there is no way. Cellular numbers and customer information are considered proprietary information by all current US cellular carriers.

4ish years ago there were companies like locatecell.com that were providing solid info (for a fee), but legislation was passed to make this illegal. They were paying call center employees of the wireless providers to steal the data.
