Another trouble code
The newer one is P0442. P0420 is already in there. I was going to remedy that today, but I found out I can only use the direct fit cats on my car, not the universal cats.

i think my 02 silverado threw that code and mine was the purge valve i think what it's called. just had to drop the tank a little and pull the sensor off. not sure if that is your prob or not. the sensor wasn't that much $$$

Should I just replace the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve that sits on the engine?

Had the 442 code pop up on my wifes 98 Z28, followed this guys in structions:

Light went out and hasnt' come back on, YET. This was a couple of weeks ago. she has put several hundred miles on it, if it was to come back on, it would have already.
