Sold my car today Sold my '02 Z28 today. I feel weird now, it's almost like I sold one of my kids. I guess it makes me feel weird because I wasn't even trying to sell it. I had a friend ask me what I wanted for it and I threw out what I thought was a price he'd be out on. He calls me this morning and said he had the money when could he come get it. Oh well he's happy and I'm happy. Now I can get me a Vette when I graduate in May.

I hear ya Matt. I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad. I've owned the car so long its weird not seeing it in the garage. I say I might get a Vette but there is an '00 SS with a 440 ci LS7 that I've had my eye on. I guess only time will tell.

It would bother me if he didn't take care of it but this guy will. Really, I wanted to change it up and get an SS, Vette, WS6. It was time for a change but it is still hard after you own something that long.

There is no real difference in an SS and a Z28. Hood and spoiler thats it. Depending on what vette you want they can be had pretty inexpensive really. C6z's are going for 38k or so. Depending on mileage a little less a little more. C5z's can be had 18kish. If I was offered the right money I would have think real hard about selling mine but only because I would get a C6Z lol

if someone offered me 8k the way mine sits and was for real it would be gone...I would even give them all the extra parts I have. I sure would miss it though, but only until I bought a Corvette.
