Default Anyone with a Tech2, need my navigation reflashed

I installed a backup camera in my truck and need the navigation headunit reflashed with a new part number that I have so it will recognize the camera. The dealer wants $100 bucks to do something that will literally take 5 minutes to do. This is on my 2007 silverado if it makes any difference.

Preferably in Austin but Ill be in Houston next weekend too.

Try your local Tech schools. We have done quite a few of these types of things at mine.

My machine costs well over 10K, the software updates are over 1K a year, and the internet subscription to GM's site isn't cheap either. It would likely take up 30 minutes of my time. So I would ask for $100 also.

Except tech 2s don't cost that much. I'm sure updates cost some money but the dealer also gets to charge GM quite a bit for all the stupid software updates they do. Nevermind the fact that it will literally take 5 minutes for them to flash it since I've already got the part number they need to flash. $100 is highway robbery for what they're going to do.
