One of their fine officers pulled over my wife several years ago for doing literally 1mph over the speed limit. He didn't ticket her, but for 1 mph?

Well, i can't say that I haven't heard something like that before, but I set my cruise on 73 and wave at them when they are sitting on the bridge by the speedway and haven't been pulled over.

Just run next time if you think they are coming after you. How much power are you putting down?

This kind of BS isn't just found there, this has happened in Dallas before as well. My brother was pulled over in a Camaro and got a ticket for obstruction of view (air freshener on mirror), no seat belt and about 10 other things that were just a crock of ****.

I am not sure if they are having a bad day when this type of **** happens or they just need to write a few tickets for the day.

BTW you can fight the plate ticket, just mount your plate on front and take a picture. As far as the seat belt ticket I would fight the **** out of that. I have had a cop tell me this before so I absolutely wait to take off my belt when they get to my car.

Take advantage of your day in court. You can probably get out of the tint and plate ticket (as described earlier).

For those who've been pulled over for anything within 5 MPH of speed limit, you should always fight these in court. Speedometer error, tire wear, etc., can cause up to 5 MPH error in anyone's car, hence most cops won't even try to write a ticket for it.

I was pulled over in Pantego just here recently and I would warn anyone to stay off of Bowen and I20 headed north. Pantego cops are thick through there and they will give you a ticket for damn near anything. Mine was for a plate frame that 'barely' even touched the letter 'TEXAS'.

The two plate law in this state sucks as well, and it's just more reason for them to pass out tickets as most people would rather not litter up the front of their cars with one.

I slap one in the window every time I drive me Daytona on the street...

Do they really have a h/c 5th gen cop car? Yea I will fight them, I couldnt believe that this dipshit was serious I thought he just said all that to make me feel guilty or something and then hands me the ticket... I will make a complaint but not sure if it will do anything since all of them there are on the same boat of writing BS tickets and putting money in there pockets...

Just talked to a buddy and you should fight the no plate ticket. It's currently not a law but probably will be brought back next year. Also said if he pulled you over for no front plate then all three tickets would be dismissed if its on his dash cam, and to file a complaint to his Sargent and he may dismiss to keep from getting a formal complaint on file.

I got pulled over in my GTO for some BS reason once. Cop was about 100 yards in front of me and just stopped in the middle of the feeder untill i passed him. When i asked why i was stopped he told me registration didnt match my plates? Really, you can tell that from 100 yards in front of me not to mention the fact the plates did match. He then gave me a ticket for illegal tint which was factory tint lol and no front plate. Tooks pics of my tint and car with the plate on to the judge and got them both dismissed. Still had to pay for parking at the court house and a dismissal fee for the tint ticket which i shouldnt have gotten. Made no ******* sense. Basically a cop can write you a bogus ticket and you have to pay $5 to park at the court house and another i think $15 dollar fee to get it dismissed? Crooks.
