My wife is debating trading in her Audi S5 for a 2013 model. She is definitely a fan of the better MGP and the facelift but is not a fan of the supercharged V6 that will replace the N/A V8 even though it has the same torque and only 20 hp less. I told her to either stick with the S5 she has now or wait to trade for the RS5 which is a N/A V8, 444 hp beast

Just wanted to see if you guys agree or not and what your opinion is on the 2013 Audi S5. Also, just to be clear, we are NOT considering anything else other than Audi, no BMW's, no Mercedes, no Cadillacs, no Lincolns, etc. Just Audi.

Not worth it IMO.
The depreciation from your Audi to the new one would be a waste. I understand the better mpg but that's negligible.

The V8 S5 motor is a turd. I'd upgrade to the Blown V6 and pully/tune it.

I agree if get the v6 blower combo...... And just do a few tweaks.

But If u can afford a rs5 then do that instead lol

I had a 2012 S5 with the blown V6. It was quicker than the V8 version. Don't compare peak numbers, that little Eaton blower had the V8 beat across the rpm range. Especially in torque!

I haven't read up on the S5's, but the S4's supercharged V6 will stomp their older V8 S4 counterparts. Motor Trend ran a 13.1 @ 109mph in the B8 S4.
