They're using a pic his car to sell engines. Kind of funny considering the vid of him genading one.

Thompson Motorsports is a sponsor here. I'm guessing that they replaced the motor that he blew up to get a sponsorship opportunity on the Monster Camaro, which is actually a pretty smart marketing plan. Regardless of whether the guy is a douche or not (I don't know him), Connecting up with Monster Energy for any kind of marketing is pure gold.

That was not our motor in the car. We were setting up to sponsor the car but after the video decided that it was not a good fit for sponsorship. Watch the video and see why we are not willing to sponsor the motor

Then why not a pic of the engine for sale instead of the vehicle?

When you bounce the limiter for that long, its no surprise the motor blew. What a waste.

Yes it is a -5cc valve relief with Arias forged pistons (-5cc valve relief), Forged Eagle H-beam rods with ARP 2000 rod bolts, Eagle 4.000" stroke with 24x reluctor in a LQ9 iron block. It is file fit for 300shot.

What the hell?

Hitting the rev limiter that long is just plain stupid.

I thought I heard it all when at motorcycle rallies with douches revving their bikes and staying in it even though they were on the limiter but this takes the cake.

Good call at passing on that deal..lol
