Jake's Performance

We're finished with the move into the bigger shop.

September 8th we're having a "Grand Opening" with a raffle and we'll be cooking some hamburgers and hot-dogs.

We're having a car show as well.

Come by and see the new place and show off your ride. We'll be at the shop from 9 am-3 pm or later. Probably be doing food from 11-1.

I also want to let everyone know we're your source for quality transmission rebuilds in the DFW area and racing/performance transmissions. We're also doing complete automotive repair. Rear gear installs, engine builds, some tuning, cam swaps, converter swaps, headers and cat-back installs, 4x4 work, etc.

I'll be up there soon helping with Joe's car.

Jake, I told Steven I would be more than happy to donate some food for the grand opening. I can get patties and wieners extremely cheap from our supplier. Let me know!

I'm guessing Joe is still pretty happy about actually being able to drive his car normally once again? :D

About 6 miles or so from the old shop. Don't know if you're familiar with Sanger, TX but before to get to the old shop, you had to take exit 478 and go down FM 455 for a few miles before you could reach it. This one, you take exit 479, go down the service road for 3/4 of a mile or so, look for the big red and yellow "Latham cabinet shop" sign (soon to be accompanied by a big Jake's Performance sign) and make a right right before that sign, go down for about .3 miles and you can't miss it

Joe had nothing but good things to say about his Built 4L60. Need to do a little tuning and bigger nozzles!
