Moving to Houston 77055 Area. Going to SAM Hey guys hows it going. I am moving to Houston at the end of this month and still looking for a apartment. I am going to SAM (school of automotive machinist). Just looking for some help to find a good area with nice apartments not to far from the school. Maybe even a nice lil house to rent. Any input helps

Fox hall apartments are where most guys lived, I lived at Westpoint apartments on westheimer and fondren, because it was SUPER cheap and not to bad at all. Then i got tired of that area in general and moved into a house in katy. the point is there are a ton of options in the area lol.

Be aware that the area you are considering is littered with bars and restaurants. Which means there is a 99% chance you will be living next to a topless dancer, restaurant employee bartendress/waitress w/ roomates who like to party late onto the night and have bikini parties at the pool.
Most will get drunk and do foolish things like: have orgies, or girl on girl "bi-curious" experiences. Other residents could be college students with no regard to privacy and throw all night parties...
This may interfere with your education.
Just saying.
