Well I just paid my car off and have been wanting to get into something new, the two cars I have been really looking at are 03/04 cobras and a c5 z or FRC. The problem is I have never driven either of them, I don't wanna walk up to a dealership and act genuinely interested to buy a car that I might not even like with some asshat salesman bothering me the whole time like they did with the 5.0. My question is does anyone around here have a basic pullied cobra or stockish c5z or FRC that I can drive, like get on the freeway and drive around town and actually get a feel for the car? I can pay for the gas I use and buy you a beer or something if you want, I just want a real drive to see if they're daily driver friendly for me or if I would rather keep and mod my camaro.

the c5z is a better car in every way ! lighter , more power, better suspension and will **** all over a 03/04 cobra , but im biased..........

upon further review , the 04 terminators arent that bad , some are pretty damn quick ,i just spent some time on the srk section of svt forums, and the vadered out black ones do look tough ...

Is it practical to drive everyday with the shitty Houston roads and through the medical center? I read that a lot that its a better car in every way, but I loved my old sn95 and I can only imagine the termi being better in every single way.

03/04 cobras are one of my favorite mustangs because ford finally made a mustang fast after all the crap they put out for so long. The mach 1's were a nice improvement but they did not mod all that well on just motor.

I daily drove my c5z for 70k miles with no problems. It now has 113k miles but I only use it when I want to go out or just feel like driving it. Even though I really like the 03/04 I would still buy a c5z over the mustang. I recomend driving both vehicles and deciding for yourself. They are going to feel like 2 different cars and you might not like how the vette or the mustang rides and drives.

I know the vette is basically a race car for the street and the cobra I know is going to have more room on the inside, I don't care much for the rear seats because I hate people being in my car, and I just deleted it off my old sn95 so that doesn't bother me. I agree about driving them, I just don't want to go to a dealership and waste someone's time and be bothered by them on my whole 5 minute test drive, I actually wanna test drive the car and see if its practical to drive everyday.

cobra if you're going to daily drive it. I wouldn't daily drive my c5z.
