Some more custom paint work

Did some more under the hood color matching. This is on my 68 Firebird bracket car. What do y'all think?

I have seen the car in person many times at the track, very clean!

paint looks great

cambirdracing 04-10-2013 01:29 PM

I think it sucks you have a corporate engine in there. LOL.

I always thought your car looked fantastic.

TXMaro 04-10-2013 01:42 PM

Lol, well it's about to be for sale. Buy it and you can throw all the Pontiac motors you want in it :P

daniel044 04-10-2013 01:59 PM

Car has always looked good. Seen it many times at the track as well.

Motor looks damn good. Got any spare 5.3l laying back there? haha

TXMaro 04-10-2013 03:07 PM

Lol, just sold one like 3 weeks ago.

Blackpanther99 04-10-2013 03:49 PM

Badass work man, looks real nice. Do you also paint FAST Intakes? I need one painted ;)

TXMaro 04-10-2013 04:06 PM

wow TX that last pic of the valve covers and intake look awesome, what's a job like that run if someone wanted to have it done?

TXMaro 04-10-2013 05:14 PM

Just depends on what you want. That particular one is a L76 intake. All the square port intakes are easier to smooth because the texture is not as rough as the LS1/6 intakes. PM me with details (intake style, color choice, lettering or extras, etc) and I'll let you know what it takes.

TXMaro 04-10-2013 05:16 PM

Also, I still have that set.. The orange intake and covers if any one wants to buy it, lol. It's a ported L76 and bowtie valve covers with the breather and cap. They're f-body SOM color matched.

Blackpanther99 04-10-2013 05:48 PM

Holy cow. That is some badass work man! Could you PM me a price quote please?

Kingsize 04-10-2013 06:46 PM

The paint work looks great. Always love seeing your car at the track. Have always had a soft spot for the 68's. It confused me the first time I saw it due to the lack of the front blinker lenses on the lower corners.

TXMaro 04-10-2013 07:40 PM

Lol, it's actually a fiberglass front clip adapted to accept the factory headlights/bumper, so that's why.

Kingsize 04-10-2013 08:16 PM

Sneaky bastage. Lol
