Default Paint Shops in Houston, who have you used?

A lot of people recommend Richy Road by default, who have you guys actually used and how long did they take to repaint an entire car? We have two cars that need paint, my 93 TA and a 94 Firebird drag car.

you mean something good that won't take 2 years to complete and your car won't go missing in the process?

I have personally used Richys and could not ask for better service and workmanship.

I have friends that manage/own paint and body shops but I would not recommend them. I was not impressed with their work...

It's good you actually used them, so many people type them out by default but it's rare to see people with actual first hand experience. Like Tiago said, we don't want the cars sitting for years in body shop prison.

I have used a shop called Med Center Collision for all of my paint work. They actually do a fantastic job and are very reasonable in price. They mainly work on higher end cars, and I have never had any issues with the paint.

Richey painted my engine bay, and repaired my cracked driver door for me. I won't hesitate to have them paint my entire car.

What kind of $ are you guys paying for a complete paint job, w/o color change? I used a place off of brittmoore that was reccomended to me by LMR to paint my hood. Can't remember the name of the place but it was cheap and the hood came out perfect.

I called, $12K. They said they aren't looking to do repaints any more. No thanks.

They have worked on my Dmax and my wife's Camaro. My Dmax they fixed what another recommended body shop couldn't fix and half a$$ed. Chris had no problem coming behind someone else and doing it right. I don't recall the exact timing. It took a little time, but having it done right was absolutely worth it.

My wife's Camaro someone hit and messed up the front bumper. While it was there I had them fix several other spots and they ended up repainting 3/4 of the car. They did great work.

On both there were a couple of spots I thought needed more buffing, etc. No questions asked. Chris agreed, apologized for not noticing it, and took care of it. I am picky and this is the first shop I have ever been pleased with and would go back to.

Karen is cool too.

I have used this shop to do a few things for me in the past and over all I am happy with their work. I have also read and heard good things about Richey Collision.
