Friendly Inspection DFW? Does anyone know where I can get a friendly inspection in DFW? My GFs S10 has a check engine light on for a shift timing solenoid. I have personally changed both solenoids and the light is still on. We really need to get this vehicle inspected. It's her DD and her only vehicle. PM me please. Don't post it in this thread.

if it is a 95 or older s10 it can still pass even with the check engine light on, as long as it passes the tailpipe test... if it is 96 and newer good luck, the info from the dlc is sent to the dps and as soon as they see it doesn't match what was entered into the computer they will go after the inspector and possibly you too
