Default Lsx build shop in north dallas area

Im in north dallas and looking for ls1 shop to go thru block and build and tune
Aka a machine shop that specializes in building go fast LS1 engines
Or an LS1 go fast shop who also has machine work capability

Looking to get in the 450rwhp naturally aspirated ballpark

This is going in a 68 Camaro

Ken Barr. He's in Garland, but worth it. All the major shops in Dallas use him for builds. 21st century, Quality, and LG all use him.

Is he just a machine shop then? Does he do builds and tune etc?

Thanks a ton for the referral!

He's just the machine shop. The tuning and such can be done by any of the shops mentioned.

You dont need a machine shop to get 450whp. A nice heads cam package is all you need

What is the full name of "Quality"? I am trying to google them. The other two I'm familiar with.

Take it to Sam Miller for the tune. You won't be sorry.

True Street Motorsports in McKinney did the build on my Z06, as well as my Firehawk. Sean (Formerly of LGM) does my tuning.. Both my cars run VERY strong and are VERY reliable. That's my experience... and my .02.. Both of which are Free.

Do you know when Sean worked at LG? During the 90s? I'm thinking of taking my Z28 to TSM to get some work done.

Stay FAR away from quality Motorsports! I wouldn't let Patrick tune my razor scooter after the **** poor tune he did on my WS6! Car wouldn't even start and jr said that's just how fbodies with cams bigger than 22x duration are. Sam Miller re-tuned it and it was perfect.
