Default Anyone have a good airfare hookup?

Got a last minute invite to Florida next week for the 4th of July. I'm just looking for a one way flight from Houston the Panama City and the average ticket I can find is @4-500$. I prefer southwest, but anything will do as long as its cheap. I'll also be interested in a buddy pass. Thanks, Duke

Rent an economy car at Budget. Probably about $125 for 4 days.

4-500 for a one way ticket is actually pretty good for being on such a short notice. Why one way, anyway?

If cost is an issue, I agree with Ross, just rent a cheap car with unlimited miles and drive. Much cheaper that way.

Good idea Ross. I'm checking out rentals now.

Texfinn, I guess I'm used to my last job paying all my flights. I miss that luxury. But I'd be driving back with the people I'd be headed out to see. So I just need to find an easy/affordable way out there.

In that case, rent the car for 1 day. Turn it in in Florida. Hell. It might be cheaper to just keep it the 4 days or so and drive it back home. Sometimes, they want to charge you an arm & a leg to turn cars in at different locations.

Yeah, just check and see if you can find a one way rental without mileage restrictions and you'll be good to go.

Otherwise it'll probably be easier to just take it for the whole time. One way tickets are expensive, no matter how you slice it.

Well flights are just a little out of pocket now, so prob going to do a one way car rental. Althought the cost would be less than half if it wasn't for te 150$ out of state drop off...
