Default calling out stockish fox bodies and other erra correct turds

I have a 1991 5.7 TPI Z28 I just bought to swap. It is almost bone stock and I would love to play before I swap it. I ain't interested in running a swapped car or any real horsepower nodded cars. That would be no fun at all. 5.0's would need to be close to stock. Headers, gears, cold airs are fine. I know this is a bit of stretch but I am ready to go with charged up gopros. PM me to set up some mexico runs.

You can bring any of those down tomorrow night for we are going to do some digs with a few guys we know. I will race you but it won't be in the 91' TPI. I'm sorry but that was kind of lame.

I get up that way from time to time as you have witnessed. If it happens in the near future and I am in the third gen I will shoot you a text. That would be fun.

Was a joke, sorry I'm lame. I don't street race anyway. Mustang runs 6.8 NA and 6.3 on a small shot, not bad for what it is. I would not waste my time with running a stock gen I SBC even if I did street race. What would be the fun in that?

I didn't say you were lame, just that statement. I have said lame **** before. I am aware it was a joke, just not a funny one. I'm sure your cars run great for what they are, most LS's do. I don't street race either.....private drag strip. Haha

I bet the RX8 would give an L98 third gen a run for it's money, maybe even beat it. They both run high 14's to low 15's. One engine that has gobs of torque, but falls on it's face after 4.5K RPM and another engine that can barely get going, but pulls to 9K RPM.

nope. my roturd has a catback, K&N cold air kit and some mild tuning and is still very slow. i got drug by a high mile Si driven by a very dumb kid. that rev band doesnt mean ****. dildosa nd weedwackers have high rev bands but...... i rest my case. now the instant anything resembling a bend in the road will put the roturd right in its happy spot. compare that to the amazing handling of the third gen. lol

I've had the pleasure of owing both an RX8 and an L98 third gen. Stock for stock, they're close. Gearing would be the factor on the L98, most came with 2.77 gears, which is hilariously bad for that car

Wasn't trying to say that the rev band is better, just remarking on two completely different engines. Bottom line, they both trap around 95MPH in the 1/4.

I haven't been successful in finding a race yet. I will find one soon or take it out to RP. I bet it traps higher and e.t.' s better than that. We will know soon enough. In the mean time, I would still love to find a fun run of anybody knows someone. I will travel up around Houston before heading to Mexico if needed. Thanks guys.

What is going into it OR what's the engine going into (ie, what's the future swap?). Pics?

Too bad no 4.9s are around down there to take you up. I'd like that video. Maybe post on SVTP but be prepared for shenanigans to show up if anything. They'll talk a big game about how amazing the 4.9 once was but them Furd boys know they need to stack the deck.
