I tried this with a California car. Finding a shipping company was easy. (Angels moving autos) I paid a member here with good trader rating to go look at it for me. The problem I ran into was no one would buy the car for me and be responsible for the transaction. I ended up buying a plain ticket and sending the seller a confirmation. Good luck to you.

Did you ask for underside photos to assess the level of corrosion?

I know a guy who deals alot with a car shipping company.

Once the car is gone from the shipper, the shipping company and a handful of other people who have access treat them like complete ****.

Stealing parts, beating on them, transferring things like wiper blades, wheels, batteries, and such with much shittier parts.

Now these are the cars you see on a 18wheeler that's loaded up.

But I wouldn't ever ship a car after seeing all that ****.

yea im sure the guy im paying to drive a trailer with my car would have time to do stuff to a 14 year old camaro. not like they have paperwork they fill out before the seller releases the car to the shipper and im also sure i have to inspect the car before i take delivery to it. so yea ....

What good does the inspection do after you already own and paid for the car?

The seller blames the shipper, the shipper blames the seller.

And the guy who is getting the car delivered is kinda screwed..

Just a warning. Never would have guess that kinda **** happens but I literally see it on a weekly basis. The dealer right next to my grandfathers shop does this **** all day.

The only time they told the guy anything is when the cars don't run anymore.

A couple of times they either got broke while beating the **** out of them, or took parts off that they needed to run.

They told him they knew something was up because they drove the cars into trailer. but that was the end of it for everyone but the new owners of the car.
