Sorry but not one of those cars would make the list or beat any car in the top ten of the Street Outlaw show. Yea, it may be a show and some f it setup for the drama and fun, but those are race cars. This is just a bunch of guys with a bunch of daddys money ( yea some of them may have jobs ) that bought speed off the lot. And NONE of these cars will run the 1/8th or 1/4 mile as fast as most drag cars, even when raced on the street.
These cars for this show are fast, no doubt. But not drag race fast. I'm just not interested in cars that take a runway to build up speed.
Example, My little budget S10 whipped a 2015 Mustang GT that wasn't completely stock in the 1/4. Yea, he was coming on fast, but I beat him to the stripe. They just cant leave as hard as needed to beat a drag setup car.
So for this show, if it ever airs, I'm not interested.

If the show would have made it, Texas would have been an ever funner place to enjoy the hobby. We have awesome events here and a unique scene. The type of racing in that sizzle reel is different from what you see on Street Outlaws no doubt. None of the SO guys would run on our airfield and but several of the airfield regulars have gone out and run their no-prep stuff with them - but oh well.
Nevertheless, the sizzle reel was fun to make and watch in my books. Thanks for posting!

Don't get me wrong, 1500+ hp street cars are pretty freakin awesome, but I just see the average Joe being able to relate to the SO guys a lot more than guys with cars that cost more than most people's houses. Not to mention bragging about doing 200+ down a freeway that is full of innocent people is pretty damn ignorant in my book. What do you think happens to the family of 4 in the Civic driving home from a movie that gets creamed by a Lambo/Viper/Vette/GTR doing 220+?
As for the street car vs street raced thing, hasn't that been beat the **** to death already? They are race cars that run on the street, and they are damn good at it. If it was so easy everybody could do it.
