Buick vs Ford, Noble, OK 2016 So they announced at the Buick vs Ford race in Noble, Ok. this year that they are allowing LS cars to compete next year. In the past LSx engines were only allowed if originally equipped in a Pontiac, Cadillac or GMC. Now ANY LS powered vehicle, that means Chevies and LS swaps in any chassis can play. In years prior the Buicks alone could clean up the Fords but as Grand National and Big Block GS become more and more valuable less and less are being raced. The Buick team is suffering cause there are just not enough guys racing them to hold on the onslaught of Fords. ford has won several years in a row and really hammered us this year. we need all those LS racers that wanna put the smack down on a Ford to come out and do some work. Look up some vids of the race in the past and see what team racing is about. This race is really a fun time and generally a friendly rivalry. Its a must go event every year for me personally.

Dates are TBA since the 2015 event just concluded today, but it has been late september, early october.
