Hi i am a new member, ive owned a few camaros, just recently purchased a 2002 trans am, has a sticking lifter i called a shop today that i used to go to in killeen and they uoted me $3200 to replace lifters and put a new cam in with a dyno tune... i think that price is a little high but i might be mistaken? I paid $8000 for the car it has 70,000 miles.... i was thinking it should be closer to $1500-2000 i do know that they do excellent work though any input would be great thanks.

$3200 is crazy high if you ask me.. However i do my own work.

Yeah i just asked these guys at a performance shop here they quoted me $1700, the guys in killeen were talking about replacing the rods and getting the heads flattened and ect.
