Default Austin Harness Trim and Tune

I found a guy on CL named Sonny Hill in Elgin that is offering to do a harness mod and tune for my swap for $225. Seems way too good to be true. Any experience with him, or referrals for other people in the area?

"Tune" is probably too strong of a word - my motor is stock except long tube headers, and I just want the basics to get a swap running (EGR & rear O2s deleted, etc).

Talked to him on the phone tonight, seems like a good guy and knowledgeable. I was off on the pricing - it's $225 to trim the harness, plus $175 for the tune.

Jesus $225 to remove some wires and reloom? Bring that harness here and ill do it for half. Ill prep your pcm for a tune for $120 (what the credits cost) takes 15 mins to delete stuff and reflash. Cant imagine $75 is worth that.

Just saw your reply. I'm definitely interested. He also adds fuel pump and fan relays and fuses, and an OBDII port with a CEL on it. Can you do that? I also have a spare computer. Would you be willing to take it in trade for some of the work?
