Default TX tag for houston tollways.

If you have a tex tag will it work on tollway's in and around Houston. Just took a job change and do a lot of driving all over tx and was looking at just getting a tex tag because I go to Austin a lot. I choked a little when the pay by mail toll bill came in for Houston since I've been all over the place there in the last month. SOB's straight up literal highway robbery.

TxTag works on all toll roads in Texas. IIRC, DFW Airport and Love Field are the only ones where it doesn't work.

That's exactly how I felt when I first got a toll bill in the mail.

I had called about it a while back and this is what they told me as well.

It hasn't always been that way has it, or did something change? I don't recall getting a bill in the mail for that and we still frequent the Leander area quite often.

Last bill I got was a mistake. They were billing me for a vehicle I didn't even own because the license plate was similar to mine. They had a 1 where I had a 7 or something similar on the plates. Called and spoke with them about the charges because I had a tag and the dates and times didn't add up. They fixed the problem once we figured it out.

^ nah.. it's really hit or miss. i've had the same toll tags on the same
vehicles forever, and i occasionally get a toll tag bill from that toll
road, as it is not managed by tx tag. which is retarted. beyond belief.

I know for the longest time it was a hassle to even get them on the phone. They had a big deal going on a year or so ago with the billing. Luckily I haven't had any issues lately.
