That should be an easy one to tune. As far as SE Houston goes, I don't know of any. Don't sell yourself short on a tune. Load that bitch on a trailer and go see Pat.

This. I still don't understand why people feel the need to pick a side of town and find a tuner in it. It's the most *** backwards way of doing ****.

Because some people don't have or have access to a trailer. Towing services are risky and expensive. So a good local tuner would be nice to know. Thanks

You don't have to trailer your car to find a good tuner in Houston and you don't have to limit it to one side of town.

Not everyone has access to hp tuners.
So that might leave out email tunes.

And if your car doesn't start up or drive on the current tune, how are you supposed to get it across town or to Victoria from Houston?

Push it? Hook it up with a tow strap??

Things I'd have no problem doing to get a car right up the road, but definitely wouldn't want to do for an hour or two to get a car across town.

I don't know the guy, or his situation, but I also don't think anyone needs to be a genius to understand why someone else. might want to stay local when it comes to dropping their car off at a shop.

So let me get this straight. You are willing to settle with a mediocre tuner that is right down the street from you rather Than spend $60 at uhaul and take it somewhere that will do it right? Tough to argue with that logic...

Pat G or LMR are your best local bets. GForce would be my third choice. Spend the money on a tow, cheap insurance. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish...and not wanting to spend money on a tow qualifies. (Yes, that's a nice way of saying 'Don't be stupid.')

So are you saying that all tuners in SE Houston are mediocre? This would help answer my original question instead of all the bs about towing. All im doing is looking for help locating a good tuner. If local that would be great, if i have to travel then ill figure out how to get the car there safely.

Some insurance company's will tow it free of charge. Had AAA tow a car from Houston to Sealy no charge. Just an option.

On this side of town, I'd recommend G-Force.

Cant tell you how many times I've tuned a car in my driveway thanks to Pat G .Something with basic bolt ons would be a breeze for him to do remotely, but you wont understand until you've had your car tuned elsewhere.Just my 2 pennies tho

No. There isn't anything wrong with asking if there are good tuners close by. Personally I would have asked who are the best tuners in Houston first and what side of town they are on second. Also I must have been confused I though the guy who was too cheap to arrange proper transport was the OP.
