Jakes Performance: above and beyond
In fall 2015, I had a stage II 4L80E built for my truck (7800lb 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 2500hd, cclb 4x4 with 8.1L swap) by Jakes Performance. Trans worked great for daily driving, towing and horsing around on the street. In January 2017 something broke in the transmission and dumped all the fluid out. I took it back to Jake and told him exactly what had happened. The transmission was already out of warranty but I trust him and wanted him to repair it.
Long story made short; teeth broke off of a basket in the transmission. They covered the new basket and all labor to disassemble, inspect and diagnose along with rebuilding the transmission again. The only expense I had was the r&r and fluid.
A big public thank you to Jake and the crew at Jakes performance. You went above and beyond what was required of you and I'm thoroughly satisfied with your work.
Thank you
Kevin Witt

Always like to hear these stories. But 2 things come to mind. 1. There is a sponsor feedback section, and 2. This isn't it. You should repost this there.

This is not currently a site sponsor, so I'll move it to the applicable regional section as there doesn't seem to be any further tech issues to discuss.
