Default 2017 Texas Hot Rod Hundred road trip anyone ? DFW area 10/28

http://www.hotrodhundred.com/n-texas.html

I did this last year and was a fun day trip. I took my 69 last year and planning on driving it this year, mostly old cars but who cares? if a cars cool its cool anyone want to come along, blow the dust off, recharge the battery get some break in miles? If you don't go your tires are going to dry rot and who wants that?

Also if you preregister you get one more T-shirt for your collection and lunch too

I would if mine was ready. Hopefully I'll be ready for next years.

Don't know why they always hold this stuff in bum **** egypt. 70 mile one way trip for me, which means I would have to get up at 7am just to get there. Then there is the whole, "Do I really want to drive a drum brake classic car in what's probably the worst traffic in the metroplex?" issue.

I live in the Texas countryside, that's the problem, I don't want to drive through town, 20 miles up a ******* toll road to reach the start. Frisco is the least accessible city in the whole damned metroplex. Grandbury would be much better, straight shot out I-20 or 67.

I drive the car all the time, I just don't drive it in bumper to bumper dallas traffic, and bull ******* **** that saturday isn't as bad as rush hour.

That's a great selling point "Lets go have fun, well, we aren't going to have fun, life sucks, then you die."
