Default Looking for a tire shop NW side of Houston for drag radial work

I'm having trouble with my radials spinning on the rim throwing off the tire balance. Does anyone know of a shop that will mount and balance using permatex high tack to glue the tire on a bit? MT recommends this over wheel screws and bead locks are not in the budget.

We have tires by design down here on the south side in clear lake, it's worth a drive. I go to the one off space center and the guy who runs it has a TT coyote and always does great work, really cool staff too.

VZ Autoworks in Tomball might do it

If that's too far why not slip a tire guy some cash to break the bead, clean the bead, lay down high tack, then balance.

Called VZ. He hasnt done the high tack before and didnt seem too game. Whitehead Motorsports seems up for anything. I'll probably have them do it before hitting the track again.

Thanks for the recommendations.

I've always had Discount Tire use bead sealer on my slicks. Worked for me down to 1.39 60' times and 15 psi.

This was my suggestion. I have not used it on drag setups, but have used on large off road tires that run sub 10 psi and tend to come off the bead without bead sealer. It could be a good intermediate step to try.

Maybe American Wheel and Tire off 290? I'm not sure how much work they do with drag radials but they deal with a lot of high end vehicles. I've never used them, just pass them by to and from work.

Is bead sealer something they have in-stock or a BYOB sort of deal?

They have always had it in stock when I asked for it. Might give your local DT a call.
