Default Houston area - Machine Shop - block with spun cam bearing

Other than Bruce, does anyone else have a referral if he can't do it? Went by Westside Performance & Machine, and Jeff said that he's not setup to do it.

I have a GEN4 6.0 block with a cam bearing that spun itself out of the block. The setup was 8 years old, and the cam was a mild Comp Cam

Thats just a line bore and a new set of bearings, something I'd do with any problem in the cam assembly.. Shouldn't really need any special shop, its a basic job for any engine rebuilding service.. But I'm lucky we have more than the average number of choices in shops here..

Who makes over sized cam bearings?
Specifically for ones that spun out of the block

I've never used this place, but I heard a long time ago that they were good.

http://www.houstonengine.com

You're in League City so it's pretty close too.

Thanks for the suggestion

I used them years ago (well over 10) for 2 old boat engines and had a bad experience with them and have never gone back
