In on 1. Been watching this since it started to unfold last night. Talk about a bad couple weeks for that shop.
1) Lose the C7 record to LMR
2) Lose to a coyote with some boost, that cost in total what the mods to the 5x package upgrade was
3) Do a HORRIBLE job at defending your own reputation against the information above, and playing that off as a "joke."

That new AMP facebook page is what really got me! LOL

I wonder how many of their customers got scammed into a new motor using that same trick

Well they at least tried it with one other person but he didn't get a new motor, he sold the car. He made a review on google about it, but they somehow got it deleted.

WOW! Just wow! Ive heard nothing from good things from this shop.

Don't think most people should trust them since the owner backed the co-workers behavior. Claimed it as a joke.....

just saying it was a joke (which it clearly isn't), wouldn't they have had another replacement filter ready to go on after they broke the news to the owner of the dealership?... instead they just walked out... if the dealer would have lowered the price of the car would they have fessed up to the joke or bought the car?... I'm pretty sure they would have bought the car if things were in their favor, so saying it was a joke is flat out bs... I dont know who's who but if that wasn't the owner of amp in the video then he should have fired everyone involved on the spot if he cared about keeping a good name

im wondering I there is more to this story? this just seems like there is especially considering the OP is an LMR supporter

There is plenty more to the story but it's all bad for AMP. Post got like 1k+ comments in a short amount of time, and Sam himself was commenting on it talking about how it was a "joke." All fun and games till previous customers started coming forward talking about similar experiences in attempts to get motor builds/etc.
