Texas Mile Oct 2018 Another weekend at The Texas Mile in the books. Both Z06's had some problems so we didnt run any faster this weekend. We had second gear break (brand new trans) in one and the throttle body motor go out in the other. Our old throttle body we had in the trailer (not for boost) only lasted 1 run at 18lbs of boost. We ran 209 in the car that broke the trans and 214 in the car the TB went out in.
We did speed up a 2018 ZL1 4 mph without changing parts or voiding the warranty with just some better temperature management.
It was a great weekend and got to see alot of friends and customers. Everyone at the Texas Mile is like a big family, we helped a few racers and had a few help us. Its really awesome to see people come together even when your racing each other.
We are off to SEMA and will back to normal Monday the 5th.
