Any1 ever been to ARD??? Advanced Racing Dynamics...Anyone ever been there?? I showed up the other day over there just to snoop around and get some prices on some future mods..I was wondering, what do you guys think about that place??

so explain why its the worste shop ever? Everywhere i go, I hear good things about it but i thought id check with some of you serious LS1 guys to make sure.When i went in they treated me with the most respect, and also great prices. Not to bash on MTI, but last time i came in they pretty much acted like they didn't even want me in the place ( but not all the time, theres a guy who works there who was really friendyl).Even though MTI is a quality performance shop. I was just scoping around and looking for a new place to get some parts installed, I didn't think it would lead to this..lol..

Heres the thing. I Know Owen and have known him a long time I dont play shop favorites never have. I know Dan and others at HPE and mike and lil Jay at G-force too. But I HATE it when people talk about stuff they have no idea about its just stupid. Now if you had a bad personal expierence there fine then speak up. But if not keep ur mouth shut.
Im in the same boat as TX_silv. I know most the people at the shops around town and have hung out or hang out with them and consider them my friends. Hell ive even delivered roll cages to HPE & Madman's shop in Tomball (Sorry I cant remember the name) and when I was at HPE, Chuck signed the freight bill himself and was very friendly. But dont make comments about a shop when you have 3rd hand info. Just dont say anything, if they have had a bad experience, let them come on here and say what happened and if it was resolved or they just stopped going there. ARD is a great shop with a lot to offer the LS1 community, and it kills me that people are so close minded to other shops or ideas that other people can bring to ALL of US. And Gameover, if you want, ill meet you up there and show you my car and all of the things they have done to it. Its pretty impressive a budget project like mine, UNTUNED, can be running mid to low 10s with stg.2 heads and a custom cam riding on stock suspension and a 4l60e that can hold up to anything I can throw at it. from personal expereince ard is an awesome shop i had cam only nitrous car and it ran 10.60s all day long he is currently biolding another car for me again he stands behind his work and is not over priced and is all around great guy so if you dont like him from hear say than thats sounds lkie a personal problem also paul dont hate on the man because you have not yet had a car to run any of the ard cars until then good bye
