Wiring Problem

Went to replace my alternator and found that the wire going to the clip has broken off. Good news is that I dont think I need a new alternator anymore. Bad news is that the wire broke off about an 1/8 of an inch away from the clip and I have no clue how to fix it. Anyone?

Had the same thing happen to me, I just got "creative" and pushed the pin out of the connector, soldered the wire to it, and pushed it back in. Been working fine that way for over 3 years now.

duh... why didn't i think of that? worked just fine, with the exception of me breaking the pin on the way out. oops

can i get a replacement at autozone or oriely?

I did the exact same thing. I added more wire though, so it had more slack.
