Damaged Clutch?

I received my new Z06 clutch yesterday from SDPC. Apparently, the box was tossed around pretty good, as the clutch disc hit the inside of the box hard. I'm concerned that it could effect performance or the life of the clutch. Please look at the attached pictures and tell me if I'm being too paranoid! Thank you.

im not sure i'd like that either because it spins at such a high velocity

Contact SDPC and let them know what happend. I would think they had the package insured so maybe they will send you another disc?

I've sent them an e-mail with the pictures. If I don't hear back from them by this afternoon, I'll call them.

I spoke to the dude at SDPC and he said it probably would be fine, but he'd recommend replace it anyways. I'm sending it back and getting another. I guess I'll have to wait to do the clutch.

yep. itll fail. i bought a centerforce that had a edge chip on it like that. i still put it in. a week later i was getting on it . as i went into 3rd gear the disc exploded. parts of it went thru my bell housing. and one piece lodged itself into the trans tunnel sheet metal.

I also had a friend that had one blow up on him. Not good for the tranny or the floorboard. Good luck.

Yeah, I sent it back yesterday and they're going to let me pick one up at the local dealer so I won't have to wait. I need to get this done this weekend. Thanks for all the replies.
