There's a new constable in town.

If anyone lives in the Channelview/Northshore Area watch out. There's this young ass constable that could be my little brother. He must be about 22 or 23, but he'll stop you for the smaller freaking reason. The bastard has stopped me 3 times this week. First two times was in my dad's grand am and last night for not having my front plate on my TA. I freaked out when he turned on his light cause I'm running long tubes with off road y with my cut out open. Plus I haven't got the car tuned so it's running rich so you can smell the fumes a mile away. I shut my car off while I was still moving. So far he hasn't given me a ticket, but it's a matter of time before he gives me one for no front plate. I just can't do it guys. I can't take down the bird from the front. It's bs cause cause I know that every constable in the station has seen my car(for the past 2 years) without the front plate and they've never pulled me over, but no, here comes this fucking kid cop and wants to change things around. I don't want to but I think I just might have to move in with my girlfriend. Damn the law and all tree huggers. :bang:

I grew up in North Shore. Glad I don't live over there anymore. Although, when I was in high school there was a harris county cop at the school like that. He didn't give me any trouble but I tried to stay cool with him.

But they are out there. I'll have to look out for him, cause I'll be over there at my parents house tomorrow.

since he's young he has the mind-set of being out to save the world....give him a year or 2...he'll either get burnt out or become way lazy.

I live in Crosby, but I do travel thru that area alot. I got pulled over after work in Clear Lake for no Front Plate. 3rd time in 7 months so I finally had a bracket made and put on the front plate.

Well, the bastard is working his way down the family. My brother told me he got pulled over twice this week by the same cop. Didn't get a ticket either, but still pulled him over for :bs: little things. Everything was nice and peaceful up until he came along this week. Maybe he will chill out after a year or two, but that means not driving with my beloved bird in the front. I can't stand for that. :kali: :pissed: I hate young ass cops... and troopers. From what I've read and heard, them bastard troopers will really fuck you if they suspect you're running offroad. They'll be all under your car and under your hood like a fucking mechanic. What the world coming to. No more :chug: and :drive: for me. :bang:

What they dont let us put the plate up front by the dash anymore? I never had a plate for my front since 97.

BLACKND Jan 22, 2005 09:39 AM

When I had my 2000 TA, I had the plate mounted underneathe the bird cover. If I got pulled over I just said that I had been at a car show and forgot to remove the cover. Had a screwdriver in the car with me to remove it. Then I'd go home and replace it. Never had too much troubles with it though.

I got pulled over by a troop for no front plate and I asked him if I could instead place it on the dash/windshield and he said that was ok, but super boy cop told me no that it had to be mounted on the bumper. I'm just going to take it off at night and put it back on during the day. The shit I have to do just because of one anal kid cop

Find the regulations for your town concerning the license plate. I'm pretty sure as long as its viewable by multple angles from the front(like suction-cupped to the windshield up in the corner) then you should be ok. That guy sounds like a real fuckhead. I'd find a way to get even with him.
