Well, the decision is made.

Is LS7Tech.com up and running yet?

Of course, there are a few milestones needed to reach it, but the wheels have been set in motion.
Milestone 1: House (click me) - IN PROGRESS as of 3/28/2005
*Scheduled completion - October 2005
Milestone 2: pay off truck
Milestone 3: 20% down payment (in part through equity in the current Z)
Milestone 4: decide on the color and options
Milestone 5: place the dealer order for museum delivery on July 7th (which is a Saturday)
It's a lot to achieve, but I have over 2 years to do it. Should be interesting. Everyone has to have goals, right?

And, Jet, that's cool. You can be the test pilot. I have to wait until '07 (because it goes with the upcoming "CySevens" moniker, and 7 is my favorite and lucky number, and I don't think I could get the truck paid off by July of next year).

As far as sticker, I am going to try to get it in the low 60's with factory incentives, rebates, etc., though this is still TBD since the official pricing isn't out yet. I'll probably end up paying $65-70K for it. Considering I have two car payments now with about $70K worth of vehicles, having only a single car payment with good interest rate and 72 month financing (no problem since I'll keep this new one for 20 years at least) definitely puts this baby within reach. Got to have a high down payment to keep positive equity in case something comes along (like baby, perhaps?), so I took that into consideration as well.
