Default Update on a scammer........

If any of you remember I sent Steven Stuart $550 for a T-56 and he ripped me off, here is the original story
http://www.ls2.com/forums/showthread...=steven+stuart

Well he e mailed me with a BS story and I didn't think any of it but today I got another e mail from him. I don't know if this guy has a screw loose or something but here is the e mail:
Chris I am working on getting that money to you. I was
supposed to get it to you a while back yes I know but
I didn't get paid what I thought I was going to and I
was laid off. I've been trying ever since to work up
the money but I just haven't been able to get it. I
think that is going to change though because I just
put up my work car for sale. It's a 93 Cavalier that
runs and drives good and has a straight body and good
interior. It also has a good registration and
inspection. I'm asking $1000 for it. I think I can get
that quick. Nobody else around here has anything that
will even remotely resemble a car for that kind of
money. I have a digital now and I can take pictures if
you don't believe me (and I'm sure you don't). When I
sell it I'm going to give you what I owe you which is
600? No bullshit. I know you don't believe me and I
don't blame you. I have gave you no reason to do so. I
said I was going to pay you before and I didn't and I
just hid from the calls and the emails. I was scared
though and I didn't want to face the reality. I know I
basically ripped you off and I feel really really bad
about it. I didn't intend on doing that but that's
what I did. I shouldn't have spent the money before I
knew for a fact the parts were in the mail. That is
eating me up in side and I can't sleep or do anything
without thinking of that. I got to thinking though
about my life and where it's going and it's nowhere
and I'm just hurting people like you by being alive.
My time is up and I have to die. I serve no purpose
being on this earth. I can't go out though before I
pay you your money. I just can't have that **** on my
shoulders. So I'm going to do everything I can to pay
you back no matter if it means working at a cancer
palnt or flipping burgers. I am going to pay you back
and then I'm going to hop in the GT top her out and
run straight into something strong and solid like a
telephone pole or one of them cement bridge posts.
That's the way I always wanted to go out ever since I
saw Vanishing Point when I was a kid. Then maybe I
will be reincarnated as a smarter person and won't get
myself into screwed up situations like this. Or maybe
when I die it'll be just like a toy robot you took the
batteries out of. I don't know, but either way the
world will be free of one more *******. You go ahead
and turn me in to whoever you want or have whoever
come after me though. You gotta do what you gotta do.
I'm not saying that's going to help any but you do
what you have to do. I just ask that you don't send
Dan (or Don?) back over here. That's not cool pulling
a gun on people. Especially ones that have nothing at
all to do with this. You'll get your money though. I
got the car for sale like I said and I'm going to pawn
my tv and whatever else I can find tonight. I also
have parts I can sell but I think that's going to be
hard because I refuse to use the net to do that again.
You'll get your money though. If it comes down to it
I'll send it to you in installments. No that's what
I'll do. Whatever I can come up with in the next few
days I'm going to send it you down to the penny. Then
if I come up with some more a couple days after that
I'll send it. I'll keep doing that until I owe you or
anyone else nothing. I'll get it soon though. It won't
be a month or anything. I can't hang around for that
long. I'll be around to answer the emails though. Even
if you just want to cuss me out and tell me what a low
life piece of **** I am. I'll be around for it and
I'll reply to it asap.

I have done what I can to get my money back and it is not in my hands anymore but I just thought I would keep you guys updated.

that is way out there. try and keep your distance from that guy. you don't want him to "take you with him" when he decides to flip out.

So what happened with the money order company? Have they gave up on trying to recover your money or what? That dude has some screws loose in his head. It might just be an act so you don't go over there or send someone. I got jipped by a place in Baytown, Texas that fixes rims just recently. They took $160 from me and my rim, so I know how it feels to get ripped off. That crap just consumes your mind day and night. Hope you get your money back one way or another.

Well I have taken all the steps I can with the money order company, I am getting copies of the cashed money orders as we speak and then I have to fill out some paperwork and they will try and get the money from the place he cashed it. The lady said there is a good possiblity that I could get my money back since I filled out the money order correct and it was not stolen, but it could take up to 8 months or more!!!

I don't believe any e mail this guy sends me, I am just looking at it as an act so I will stay off his back. I can't go down to Texas myself because of things here in Illinois, but I have some friends that I was stationed with that are stationed down in Texas now that told me they will go talk to him, but I don't want to handle it that way......but if all else fails and I am screwed all bets are off.

I hopefully all goes well and you do get your money. I feel for you man. Like I said, I went through it too. Because of the rim that I never got back I had to go buy 4 new ones since the ones that were on the car were dicontinued. Well, too bad you can't go up to the bastard and shoot him in the face.
