Pool your tips for saving Gas. I thought people might have ideas of things that they do to save gas that they may want to add to a thread.
Some things I've always wondered... does it make a difference where the ac **** is set? If its set at all the way cold does it use more fuel than if its closer to the cool/warm setting?
How about the fan level, is it better to turn the ac cooler and leave the fans low, or turn the fans up and put the ac temp higher?
Does having a 160 stat lower mpg? I would think so because it turns the fans on earlier right? Which would waste more fuel?
How about the TB bypass does that help or hurt mpg?
All of these seem like little things but when it costs .25 cents a mile to drive your f-bod...

Ride the metro if it goes on your route. It will save you $$$$$.
Combine all your errands into one day, and try to get it all done in a specific area. It will limit the driving.
Eat out less, it will save you a lot of money.

you wanna get real radical do you my dad did, go with airplane tires in the 100+ PSI range. start your engine and get up to cruising speed, about 12 MPH and the shut the engine off and coast down to 3 MPH. to the car. first find a little 4 cylinder then throw out the rear end and the transmission. mount the new 4 banger in the back and put the tires right next to each other and chain drive direct from the engine to the axel. then get rid os all non essentials like side windows, basically gut the car.
so all of this and you could get over 300 MPG like my dad did
