Your Thoughts on GAME 1 Pettitte vs Carpenter I say if Andy is his normal Big Game Post Season Self Astros win tonight with a score of 3-1. We score 3 runs on a Bagwell Blast in the 7th pinch hitting for Pettitte

They beat Carpenter a couple of weeks ago (in St. Louis too), I think they have a good chance of doing it again!

They beat Carpenter a couple of weeks ago (in St. Louis too), I think they have a good chance of doing it again!

i went out to see Carpenter throw that complete game against Clemens when Clemens got hurt and left early, he is a dominating pitcher, i think his ERA in the postseason this year is 0.00 while pettite is 3.86, they're both 1-0
should be an absolute duel, Pettite is notorious for being if not THE, one of the best big game pitchers ever, remember when he was with the Yankees and they'd throw pettite game 7 and it was a wrap, every single time.
Astros are underdogs but the consensus is with us covering the spread, so most think it will be a 1 pt. game if we lose, or we might even pull out a W.
Astros jump out early and hold them off, 5-3

I'm nervous for the 'stros this time around - but heck, they shoulda won last year. The cards are gonna have a tough time scoring through the whole series in my opinion.
