Default Getting rid of RASP with bullet mufflers!

Looking for anyone on the N-NW side of town with long tubes, no cats, and preferably Borla, that's put a bullet muffler on the I-Pipe. Kind of up in the air b/w an XR-1 or a Dynomax bullet. I'd rather spend less if it gets the job done well enough... I'd like to hear what y'all got, thanks

My SS has Loudmouth with the XR-1. Sounds alot better with the Borla bullet muffler.

Peace,
Craig.

Thanks for the input Craig, that seems to be the consensus that the XR-1 sounds "better", but sound is such a subjective thing. I have listened to sound clips but those always annoyed me since you don't really get the full effect. I like the Dynomax simply b/c of clearance and fit, and if it's really not too bad with the rasp nonsense then the fact that it is cheaper, is just another bonus. I'd like to hear something like this is person.

It sounded bad *** when I heard it h/c, thats what I plan on doing with my car once the h/c go on, either that or switching to some thing to keep it quieter. To oposites I supose

so youre saying BORLA is raspy....

J/J If it wasnt for the rasp that i get around 2500rpm's.... i would think borla is one of the better sounding exhausts'.... I put a e-cut out where the plate goes so i can tone it down, when i get tired of hearing it...

I already got one of those too, I was more talking about taming the rasp with it wide open. Sometimes you just want to hear the exhaust and it's embarressing to get that rasping while crusing around. Makes you sound like you're rrrrrraaaaaaacccccing when you're really just trying to enjoy yourself....

Thanks Neil!

LT1's would probably sound pretty sweet with that set-up!

Peace,
Craig.

i have longtubes, ORY, and 3inch catback with bullet muffler in the I-pipe and my car is raspy as could be. i would hate to hear the LM exhaust with LTs if the bullet muffler is supposed to be a fix.

well, it was as raspy as could be, my stall converter now keeps it out of the raspy zones.
