my TA is almost ready, and i just wanted to know how many members are here around the katy area? and where do yall meet . if you do

I used to live in Katy, although I don't hang out with street racers because I find them a bit stupid. But yeah, there should be alot of F-body's out there for you to meet up with. I bought a house in Royal Oaks and they meet up around the corner every Wed. at TC. So if you want to find a bunch of cars I would go there!

Are the cops still an issue in Katy, they have always been pretty tough as far as that stuff goes.

Truthfully they've always been fine with me, but then again I'm not one of the little snot-nosed Katy kids whose mommy and daddy bought them a fancy car. Heck, I've had the Constables roll by the house when we've had parties, street packed FULL of high horsepower cars, people outside drinking and whatnot, hoods up, etc. -- the only thing they were concerned with was the possibility of anyone driving drunk. The cops IMHO have been really cool.

Now I've gone to some of the "Katy meets" and many SUCKED, because of the first line mentioned above. Its not any one group or type of cars, its the idiot kids wanting to be loud and obnoxious, trying to show off, driving like morons, doing burnouts in the lots, trying to start fights, etc. They deserve the attention from the cops.

Did you ever cheack to see if you had any stock O2 sensors around the house?

Sorry dude, probably forgot to PM you :lol: No stock O2 sensors (that work anyway), but I might be able to hook you up on a pipe to replace the MAF.
