Does this mean Texas is the best team in NCAA history?
After ESPN proclaimed USC the "best team in NCAA history", and since Texas dethroned the almighty Trojans, where does this team rank on the all-time list of the greatest teams? For the last three weeks or so we've had to endure all of this USC propaganda about how dominating and how great USC was (according to ESPN), so if Texas can beat a juggernaut of a team like that the Horns should deservedly command consideration in the same conversation, right??
Gotta love it when a BIG media outlet like that has to eat a heaping load of crow!

Not only ESPN... Every other media outlet that worships the ground that any sc player walks on...All that crap makes me sick SC plays in a subpar division and all the hype will die down now and SC better prepare for next year because it is not looking to good

easy guys, USC did win 30 some straight games, none can take that away, pride and all, USC has been the team to beat for a few years. Be happy that the Horns were the ones who dethroned the champs. Congrats to all the horns players who made it happen. Media and all, they did win an assload of games, and they are not gonna suck next year, a program like that has tons of talent waiting to play, just like texas does, give props to a team that did what USC did, and more props to Texas for grininding it out against a very good team, lets jsut enjoy this national title, and maybe Mr. young will stay, Cuz he certainly played awesome tonight

so when did 4 points become a blow-out, get real, and almost 3 years without a loss is terrible, on the field, get a clue, be humble, be happy that the great state of texas can claim national champs

Congratulations to Texas! It was a great game and the final result was what I was hoping for.The knee down lateral play was offset by the lack of an interception call when the ball came out because the texas player landed on his back.Definitely an interception,so a blown call in favor of texas and then a blown call in favor of USC,I think that negated each other. Also Texas cheerleaders held my attention more than the USC cheerleaders did.Another win for Texas there!

I'd like ESPN to take 05 Texas and compare them to 95 Neb and 01 Miami. Not sure VY could run all over the best defense in the history of college football (01 UM).
It was a good game. But its painfully apparant that some people just REALLY like UT....but I guess we are in Texas.
Let the 05UT nut-swinging begin. ESPN...you first.
