Toyota's are good. I bought an '87 Toyota truck (my first new vehicle) in 1987 and drove the **** out of it. Never once had any mechanical problems in over 100K miles except the fuel pump (and brakes, battery - the typical wear and tear stuff), and that was because I never changed the fuel filter for 60K miles. Oops. Even the original clutch held up all those miles.

I haven't had too many issues with the Chevy's except strange transmission problems (intermittent slippage, hard shifting - but no SES light or codes) both in my '98 and in this '02. I do miss getting over 30 MPG, though. I think I average 14 or so in this Z71.

Supercharge it, buy a trailer, and be prepared by taking the vette everywhere.

My wife and I just test drove a Tacoma from Tegeler in Brenham about 2 weeks ago! I wonder if that's the same one I don't think it is, we test drove a four door. It has to be one of the smoothest riding trucks I have ever driven, but the price is rediculous . We can get a four door Silverado with more options for the same price . Your truck sure does look nice!

hah sweet!

Yeah that was parked right by this one.

I went up to buy a silver one TRD - Off Road non 4x4.

but the Black Beauty grabbed my eye!

$29.434 was the sticker

But it should be a reliable truck. So it was worth the money.

I have a thing for black cars. I don't know why but they just look more aggressive or something. My white Z28 next to my black Formula just doesn't look as cool.

Nice Truck! Make a fun daily driver, I looked at them when I was shopping for a daily driver. Old body style though not the new one like you have.
