Looking for some people with cars up in this area...I know there is some big LS1 meets up around this area...Does anyone kknow when and where...I have seen excess of 30 plus LS1's here together driving around...Just wanted some scoop on the action...John

I live between the woodlands and magnolia off of 1488. We drive my girls WS6 to car meets, and my WS6 stays on the trailer untill i get it to the track.

We should all head to the track together some time.

im not trygin to talk smack, just every time i go to that meet along with the 90 hondas and the black celica with the hand spray painted vynil ninja dragon graphics, all the high schoolers with fast neons, cold starting their pos's and revving the **** out of them, i hear/see retards who shouldnt be allowed to own but somehow got their hands on a ls1, pull up, revving their car thru the parking lot. park. sit for 4 hours. fire it up and bang it off the rev limiter for no reason. its extremely gay, and it hurts my brain every time i go.

hey, I live near 1488, I have gone over to Willowbrook last month and lots of good looking rides, the last time I was there security ran everyone off I have seen a few at Lowe's. one of the moderators on this site lives up here. Maybe we should select a location and call out the american car people.

Um did you not read my post? I don't go there because I WORK probably 100% of the time on friday nights . thus those gay as ricer wannabe don't know how to drive their ls1 owners are not my friends.

But its cool though for assuming I would hang with a group of people who don't respect their cars on cold starts

We live off Hardin Store and I work on 1488 (Gersitz Automotive) but I don't make any LS1 get togethers yet. We've got a red '99 Firehawk among other things. If a meet forms local we'll come (me and my girl <-- her car). We're not into stupid BS either but if adults want to get together and talk/eat or goto the track we're game. Me and my son took his '85 RX-7 to a scenic drive meet that started in Montgomery last summer, in case you saw a ton of old fogies in Miatas along with several other Mazda rice burners in town, that was me. Most of the time I drive my truck on 1488, it's the big black Silverado with the SS hood and 496 engine.

Hell just build a forged 346 and put the gas on it, its cheap and will run extremely good. I live off 1488 and 2978 and may be able to lend a hand.
