Official Houston Rodeo thread

The intro to each concert this year is a video of Houstonians helping Katrina evacuees. It goes on for several minutes, showing all the nice things people did. What sucks is that we are left with a much higher crime rate since Katrina, and these 'guests' are causing all sorts of trouble in Houston. Needless to say, hardly anyone clapped or cheered like last year, it was almost silent, even heard a few booos. Last year, they played "I'm Proud to be an American" with a cool vid showing soldiers and stuff, and everyone cheered and clapped to that vid. This year, we get Katrina. I think we have had enough of Katrina here in Houston.
Going again this Sunday to see Clay Walker.
Also a note to any single dudes, you guys REALLY need to get your asses to the Rodeo. Think of it as the biggest collection of good looking girls in the city, all in one location. No kidding.
The place was packed and about half of the crowd stayed untill he George left the arena. He has some of the most loyal fans i have ever seen. I really enjoyed the calf scramble, and like normal the rodeo was not that great. Once Brooks and Dunn comes around the rodeo should be great, it will be the finals.
I enjoyed the Johny Cash song the George sang, he always throws a little extra in his shows.
But to avoid trouble getting out of there (via the bus) try taking the lite-rail. Park @ Fannin south lot back by old astroworld only a few bucks and hardly no waiting.

As for the women running around there. lots of jail bait, last night there was a women sitting in the front row (we were in the second row) with some huge fake ****. she was damn good looking and her **** were millimeters from popping out. When she got up every guy was staring at her.
btw Id like to add that METRO sucks a big **** for cancelling the bus routes they have always had to the rodeo. I had to drive to the show and it sucked dick, wasted 2 hrs of my life trying to get in there....
probably not going again this year because of that.
. I hope I can score some more tix like that. This was by far the best way to see the show.
Far as Texas country goes, yeah. I saw him play at Frontier Fiesta, been a fan of his music since I was in High school. nationaly I dont think he is all that well known, but far as Texas goes, he's very well known.
