that would be nice i wasnt expecting that much, once i get everything installed would this be enough stuff to make it worth while to get dynotuned.. a new shop pretty close to here in atlanta texas opened up with a chasis dyno(less than a hour compared to 2 hours in DFW area) same prices as anywhere else(400 or so for full tune etc., and 75 for 3 base line pulls)... would the 400 bucks be worth it

Just my .02 but,

If your willing to spend $$ on a dyno tune, wouldn't you want to shop around a bit, find a cam to work w/ the LT's. Pretty easy to find an LT1 cam for around 200 or so. Really depends on what you are going to do with the car.

If you just want a dependalble, daily driver to have rebuilt, sounds fine. But then it's confusing with the dyno and tune question. You want more performance, well, while the engine is being put together, stick in a few parts, shave the heads a bit, etc. All are low cost if the motors already out.

Don't be in a hurry to slap it all together and then be disappointed that it doesn't really go any faster than any other bone stock car.

Not trying to rain on your parade, just giving you some additional ideas.

Good luck with it,

Kev
